Faith Harl is a freelance writer and interviewer based in Tulsa, OK. Harl began her career in writing while attending Tulsa Community College, where she was first introduced to creative writing workshops and co-created a student-led blog called The Tulsa Beat.

In 2017, Harl was selected by the Dean of Student Affairs to deliver a speech at the Oklahoma legislature in honor of Higher Education Day. Harl also interned for Oklahoma Magazine and Legal Aid. Her senior capstone project, Defying Genre, was awarded “Outstanding Capstone.” She later went on to graduate cum laude with a Bachelor’s in English from Rogers State University.

In 2021, Harl quit her full-time job to pursue a freelance writing career. She secured a contract with a woman-owned professional writing agency headquartered in New York, NY. She’s also penned several stories and features for Oklahoma Magazine.

In her free time, Harl likes to travel, practice yoga, and spend time with her husband and rescue Maltese, Daisy. Her personal blog, Faith was here, chronicles her travel experiences and hobbies.
